Tyler J. Rinne



Tyler J. Rinne is a writer, artist, director and actor based in Beatrice, NE. He has written six plays and directed over thirty, including Fools, The Lion in Winter, and One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest. He illustrates for The Rural Electric Nebraskan, Josh Erikson’s Ethereal Earth book series, various podcasts and websites, and on commission. He is currently at work on a mural project for Main Street Beatrice. His short stories appear in Laurus and The Laurette and his play The Rest of the West is published by Pioneer Drama Service. Favorite acting appearances include onstage in The 39 Steps, Noises Off, and Moonlight & Magnolias, and onscreen in the upcoming The Music of Erich Zann. Tyler co-hosts the Film Foil podcast as the resident movie buff. He lives with his wife, Elena, and their dog, Luna.
